A few sentences on a topic that will be continuously revisited, for the creation of Art and the Artful life are embedded in the human spirit and our collective soul. People have had Art since consciousness germinated and the two have always, seemingly, connected together. We are arguably more open to spiritual connection with Art in the picture. No pun intended.

Art and religion, an attempt to create systems of connecting to the spirit, go hand and hand. From the cave painting humans on through most times and places, Art has been essential to our connection with the larger concept of “God” and has bridged gaps between religion and science. Where religion is Artless, people get burned at the stake. Look at the Puritans of Salem and see how their Artless religion fared. We still have not realized the potential of Art to connect us with the powers of creation.

Art is spirit, it unites body mind and energy with the consciousness of creation. Helping others, a connection to nature and an Artful view of the elements of reality. These are elements often removed from talks about spirituality, or have been. But there is no doubt the Art and Spirit, Art and the beyond, are made for each other. I look forward to developing more connections that help to propagate the idea of celebration our individual and collective connections to the bigger spiritual forces of life…
